Trapeze 4 Mobile
SUSPENDED SCULPTURE
The term "mobile" was coined by Marcel Duchamp to describe the kinetic artworks of fellow artist Alexander Calder. Like Calder's creations, Hendifar's Trapeze 4 Mobile Pendant inspires us to see the intertwining relationship of all the elements in play—metal, porcelain, space, and light.
Overview
Trapeze 4 Mobile Pendant Light by Gabriel Hendifar for Apparatus is inspired by the tension and dynamics of the circus act. This series of chandeliers cantilevers glowing bowls in movable formations on the ceiling or wall, creating a soft illumination and graphic silhouette. Available with either brass or hand-cast porcelain bowls.
