Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Zanat
Made in Bosnia
The minimalist Koam Sideboard by Jean-Marie Massaud features a strong aesthetic appeal thanks to its perfect proportions and charismatic “burnt wood” carving pattern that entirely covers the drawer fronts. The interplay between the elegant wooden body and the metal base also contributes to the impressiveness of this handsome storage unit.

Koam Sideboard by Jean-Marie Massaud for Zanat is a low sideboard made entirely of solid wood resting on a minimalist base made of expertly welded steel plates with no visible welding marks.
Koam Sideboard consists of two larger drawers to the right and two smaller drawers sitting on top of each other on the left. The orientation of the carving pattern differs on the small and large drawers, which visually breaks the piece into two segments.

Craftsmanship is the essence of the Bosnian furniture brand Zanat. For four generations, the Nikšić family has been designing and building heirloom-quality, hand-carved furniture using a primitive technique that originated in a small village near their hometown of Konjic. Today this woodcarving technique is officially inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list.
