Overview

Designed by Foster+Partners for B&B Italia, Cordoba Armchair combines design, precision, and environmental responsibility. Roomy and welcoming, the oak wood frame recalls Nordic precision and an ancient Eastern spirit. Using the structural and tactile attributes of timber, the upholstery material is elegantly pulled and tensioned around the frame to create an extremely supportive, comfortable seat with a lightweight presence.

The back and seat are made of thick leather, either smooth or embossed, which can be easily removed to allow for convenient maintenance. The option to efficiently replace the seat material significantly extends the chair’s lifespan and contributes to a circular economy of repair and reuse.
