Volare Due Bed

Volare Due Bed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Poltrona Frau plays with the contrast between tension and suspension that accentuates the various volumes. The result is a refined evolution that maintains all the elegance of the original four-poster but without its imposing grandeur. This is a bed that is equally at home positioned in the center of a room or against a wall.

The precise design creates a sizeable structure that’s luxurious in materials and craftsmanship, yet measured and discreet. A solid ash wood frame with triangular profile and moka finish supports the bed, while the tulipwood frame and footboard are entirely upholstered in Cuoio Saddle Extra or Pelle Frau leather. Two soft pillows attach to the headboard via leather belts that pass through gunmetal grey eyelets. The combination of leather, wood, saddle leather, and fabric creates a warm, welcoming aesthetic. Winner of the 2022 EDIDA Award in the Bedding category.
