Tufty-Time ’15 Sofa by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia celebrates a decade of design excellence with a refined evolution of the iconic modular seating system. Launched in 2015 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the original Tufty-Time, this sophisticated iteration introduces an innovative textile treatment that elevates the classic capitonné aesthetic. The distinguishing feature lies in the cover construction—large fabric squares are artfully joined by distinctive kick pleats that create bold architectural lines and enhanced visual depth. This technical innovation not only adds contemporary drama but also improves the sofa’s ability to maintain its crisp, tailored appearance over time.

Like its predecessor, the ’15 version maintains the versatile modular system built around an ottoman foundation, expandable with central, corner, and terminal elements to create infinite seating configurations from intimate conversation areas to expansive island arrangements.
