An everyday object, an easily recognized shape from our collective memory, that is why it feels familiar, there is something of a resemblance. Mathilda Dining Chair is a modern design in the architectural sense, in the proportions between the whole and the detail.
The concept is simple, perfect for its intended use: two trestles, which give solidity and affinity, hold the seat, and act as a support for the backrest while also making the chairs stackable. Considered, careful construction brings the design up-to-date creating a seating system that is coherent, practical, and instantly recognizable.

- Arms and legs are ash or oak in a range of finishes
- Seat and upholstered back are flame-retardant, stress-resistant polyurethane foam in varied densities on an ash frame
- Arm and leg connection is covered with fabric, leather, or weaved synthetic cord armbands
