This limited edition of just 500 numbered pieces celebrates the XXVII Compasso d’Oro “Award for Product Career 2022,” the most prestigious recognition in Italian industrial design.

Originally conceived in 1969 as the first piece of industrial design to convey a political message, this anthropomorphic masterpiece transcends furniture to become living sculpture. The voluptuous armchair, inspired by ancient fertility goddesses, cradles you in its generous embrace while its spherical ottoman—connected by a distinctive aluminum chain with corten finish—completes this iconic meditation on form, comfort, and meaning.
