Crafted with sustainability in mind, the seat features a plywood frame with elastic webbing, while the innovative cushioning combines polyurethane foam containing plant-based materials with blown recycled PET fiber encased in recycled PET fabric.

The loose backrest cushions, developed through Cassina LAB’s partnership with Milan’s Polytechnic University, further the piece’s commitment to wellbeing and sustainability through their recycled PET fiber filling. Available with removable leather or fabric upholstery from the Cassina Collection, the Sengu Bold can be paired with Sengu low tables to create a complete, customizable living space that embodies timeless modern luxury.
