Capo Dining Arm Chair

Capo Dining Chair by Neri & Hu for De La Espada was initially designed for the Italian restaurant Capo in Shanghai. Based on a basilica, the interior design concept of the restaurant features old-world charm, including a masonry enclosure and handsomely crafted detailing. The chair series also takes on those qualities of heritage—the simple and modern form is enriched with tailoring details that evoke old-world sensibilities and craftsmanship.

The Capo chair maintains a well-balanced equilibrium between sophistication and utility, between classic and contemporary aesthetic. The Capo series includes a Capo Barstool in two heights and Capo Lounge Chair with or without arms.

Materials

• Available in American black walnut, American white oak, or European Ash in a range of finishes, and a range of fabric and leather options. Leather belting strap arms in black or brown with brass-colored PVD detailing.
• Crafted at the solar-powered De La Espada factory in Portugal and rigorously engineered with the support of De La Espada’s development team and expert craftspeople. Durability, comfort, and aesthetics combine for a product that lasts a lifetime.
• Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural color and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed, or rubbed.
• Textiles supplied by a renowned Danish partner with fabric mills in Norway, Italy, and the UK. Leather sourced from tanneries in Sweden and Italy using only hides from European cattle.
