Atlas Table Lamp

Atlas Table Lamp by Karl Zahn for Roll & Hill takes its name from the Titan condemned to carry the weight of the world—a fitting metaphor for this elegant study in balance and geometry. Designer Karl Zahn combines an illuminated glass globe with an intersecting brass armature to create a sculptural object that functions as both light source and conversation piece.

The design’s brilliance lies in its apparent simplicity. A hand-blown glass sphere nestles within geometric brass framework, creating the illusion that the metal cradles the glowing orb. The armature serves dual purposes: structural support and visual counterpoint to the sphere’s organic form. Available in polished brass for warm, reflective surfaces or blackened brass for understated sophistication, Atlas suits both traditional and contemporary interiors. The integrated LED provides ambient illumination while the compact footprint makes it ideal for bedside tables, console surfaces, or flanking arrangements.
