Ercol was founded in 1920 in the heartland of English furniture making by Lucian Ercolani. Ercolani was intent on designing and producing beautiful, honest furniture. Design and people were the cornerstones of his company from the beginning, and they remain key elements of the family-owned, private company that has continued Ercolani’s ethos into the 21st century.
In 2020, Ercol marked its 100-year anniversary with the introduction of L.Ercolani, a premium brand committed to timeless design. L.Ercolani embodies the classic collection designed by Lucian Ercolani with new works from international designers that represent the past and future heritage of Ercol.
