Inspired by the once-popular sand-filled ashtrays of the past, Fat-Fat is essentially a service element intended for all of life's various surface and storage needs.
Overview
Fat-Fat Ottoman by Patricia Urquiola is a series of table/poufs/ottomans of varying sizes with expansive base shapes. The flat table surface is actually a removable tray placed over a concealed internal compartment that can be used as a container by lifting the tray. With their sensuously curved forms, Fat-Fat Ottoman functions on a sculptural level providing both an impromptu usable surface and hidden storage. Available in a wide range of fabric or leather upholstery colors.
Materials
- Orange thermoplastic internal frame
- Internal frame upholstery in flakes of polyurethane and PET, synthetic fiber cover
- Chalk white painted, black painted, or with burnished copper finish steel sheet tray
- Fabric or leather cover
