ANTONIO CITTERIO, DESIGNER
A two-time Compasso d’Oro prize winner, Antonio Citterio is an Italian architect and furniture designer who lives and works in Milan. His Diesis coffee table is a 1979 design that channels the tubular steel aesthetics pioneered by Le Corbusier, Perriand, and Jeanneret in the 1920s.
Designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, Diesis Coffee Table is an evergreen design like its namesake sofa. Diesis is offered in two versions. One low with a large rectangular marble top and the other lighter and higher with two tops, one in transparent ground glass and one covered with leather.
- Marble (natural finish, matte polyester finish, or glossy polyester finish)
- Lower shelf in multi-layered wood panel covered in thick leather
- Support frame and feet in die-cast aluminum and tubular steel
- Plastic ferrules
