Ardys Armchair

Ardys Armchair by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina brings the quiet drama of the Ardys system down to a single, enveloping seat — one shaped, like the rest of the collection, to resemble a large contemporary quilt. Inspired by the lightweight warmth of a Nordic duvet, its generously tailored upholstery is cut to let the padding breathe and expand freely, while deep stitching carves the volume into soft, rhythmic sections that read as presence from across the room before they’re ever felt. The result is an armchair of real character: low-slung and grounded, yet airy and inviting.

As with everything Cassina makes, the materials are chosen as carefully for their comfort as for their reduced environmental impact, pairing the brand’s craftsmanship with a forward-looking approach to sustainability.
