Cesta Table Lamp
Designed by Miguel Milá for Santa & Cole
Made in Spain
Inspired by the traditional lanterns that light up homes along the Spanish coast, rural estates, and open terraces, Cesta is an iconic lamp created by Miguel Milá in the 1960s. This lamp object can be picked up and carried easily, ideal for both tabletops and floors.
The opal glass shade is supported by a beautiful cherry wooden structure that is produced manually by European craftsmen, using traditional steam bending techniques for the wood. Delicately polished and sturdily put together, Cesta is equally at home in traditional, modern, or contemporary interiors.

CESTA-TABLE-LAMP
Spanish for "Basket"
As its name suggests, the beautiful wooden structure that was designed to house this fragile piece is a pared-down basket. Utilitarian and aesthetic, the basket-like structure of Cesta is its quintessential feature.
