Backenzahn™ Side Table

Designed by Philipp Mainzer for e15

Made in Germany

The original Backenzahn™ Side Table designed in 1996 by e15 founder and architect Philipp Mainzer is a modern design classic. Crafted in Germany, this side table with flat top is offered in oiled European oak or walnut. For its signature form and detail, the center of the tree is used. During the seasoning of the wood, the legs form their characteristic cracks, making every stool unique.

Overview

Backenzahn™ Side Table designed by Philipp Mainzer for e15 functions as a side or occasional table or as an impromptu seat. The table features a structure of four legs that have been joined together. Each of the legs has been articulated as a separate element—the narrow gap between posts creates a simple geometric pattern at the top.
