28 Series Copper Suspension Pendant Lights by Omer Arbel for Bocci are designed to occupy a horizontal plane that deviates from its gravitational directive. The flexible copper suspension provides a different compositional reading that results from shaping the copper tubing during installation. Pendants can be angled in any direction to provide a range of sculptural forms. The copper will weather and tarnish, registering the passage of time in its patina.
The orbs are a result of an innovative fabrication process that manipulates both the temperature and the direction of airflow into blown glass. They are slightly distorted spheres with an interior landscape of satellite shapes, including an opaque milk glass diffuser that houses either a low-voltage xenon or LED lamp.
- 28.7c is comprised of 7 blown glass pendants that attach to a single brushed nickel, black, or white canopy in a random configuration
- Lamps (20-watt xenon or 1.5-watt LED) and power supplies included
- LED lamping on 28.7 is not dimmable
- There are over 20 color options available for the 28 Series
