Overview

Named after the city of trees, Sendai Armchair by Inoda+Sveje for Minotti is a member of a seating collection that also consists of a small sofa and dining chairs.

Like slender trunks, the elegant, polished legs, in Canaletto walnut solid wood stained Light Brown, or Liquorice lacquered ash, rest on the ground, lifting the enveloping upholstered body and creating a soft rhythm of vertical lines.

MATERIALS

Structure:
- Metal frame coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam, covered with a coupled breathable and hypoallergenic fiber
- Plywood platform with additional insert in temperature-sensitive variable density material, upper side covered in breathable cotton fabric bearing the Minotti logo
Cushions
- Seat cushion in high resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam encased in breathable heat-bonded fiber laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric
Covers
- Upholstery for cushions and frame is completely removable in all versions (fabric and leather)
Base
- Fixed structure:
  - Crafted on CNC machines and assembled with dowel joinery and glue
  - Equipped with black protective felt slides or black polyethylene glides
  - Finish options
    - Solid Canaletto walnut, stained light brown, with matte polyester lacquer finish;
    - Solid ash with open-pore licorice color lacquer finish
- Swivel base:
  - Equipped with black protective felt slides or black polyethylene glides
